Haul | Primark Shoes August 2012

Hi lovelies!

I have am a predictable girl and a lover of shoes and bags.  I'll admit my bag obsession is much bigger. I could buy a bag a week and I would not feel guilty. I just love them so much. stop rambling Ellie.

I reaaaaaaaally wanted the famous Topshop Vectras and was so tempted to get them, even if they were £28 a pair! By the time I had convinced myself it was okay to treat myself, they were gone. GONE. Sold out, everywhere! Shortly to be replaced by new Vectras but made instead of horrible canvas material. I was not a happy person, and began my hunt for a cheaper alternative.

On Friday evening I was killing time before work and "accidentally" found myself in Primark. I headed towards the shoe section praying they may have something like this and my prayers were answered!

The Primark versions are not studded all over but just on the front. It's okay, I still love them.
They cost £10, which is towards the more higher end of Primark's prices but I was comparing them to other brands I had seen and that was the cheapest price by far.

I loved them so much I got them in the pale pink/nude colour AND the black colour. The nude pumps have gold studs and the black pumps have metallic black studs. I am a size 6 in shoes but for some reason had to get a 7. Dodgy Primark sizing. I have worn the nude pair once and they hurt. I was hobbling by the end of the day. I am hoping I just need to wear them in!

I promise I am not someone with a weird fetish or anything, but I really like things with studs on! These boots   caught my eye. They had a large variety of boots in different styles, with studs in different spaces and in different colours. I really liked these boots and tried them on (in size 6!) and they fitted well. They do feel quite comfortable but I probably won't test them out for a few weeks yet until it gets a bit colder. I am worried about the small heel as I am rubbish at working in heels of any height.

They cost £18, which I again think is pretty pricey for Primark but if they were in Topshop they would be £40 plus. I am still undecided if I really want to keep these so please give me your opinions!

Are you a lover of the stud trend?

  2. Those pumps look amazing! Are they good quality? And have they got any comfier with wear? Because I don't want to get my heart set on a pair and then find out they're just cheap and nasty because even if they are just £10 it's still £10 wasted really! Great post btw :).

  7. I love them boots, very nice. But I agree, £18 is a lot for Primark, they don't look like cheap boots but normally Primark would be around the £12 mark.
    Great buys though :)
