Review | Real Techniques Blush Brush

Hi lovelies,

I have an obsession with the Real Techniques brush collection. I do not even remember how I used to apply my make up without using the brushes created by Sam Chapman, a make up blogging genius. I purchased the Core Collection a while ago now and use the brushes every day. They are such great quality that it has completely changed my opinion of make up brushes.

I needed a new big fluffy brush for applying bronzer when I am not contouring, as I am so pale I need to add warmth to my face! I did not even have to think about which brand I would purchase from and headed straight to Boots when they were doing 3 for 2.

The Blush Brush is hand-cut to contour and define cheeks for flawlessly blended, high definition results. Look pixel perfect even in harsh light, with ultra plush taklon bristles.

The Blush Brush is gorgeous, I don't know if it is just me but looking at it makes me happy. The metallic pink handle is lovely and feminine. It looks great with the rest of my brushes. Plus the handle is weighted so it can stand up right but at the same time it is very light and easy to use. The quality of this brush is amazing. The bristles are so soft like you would not believe. The head of the brush is rounded, which is what I wanted as I find them easier to work with than slanted brushes. It picks up product really well and washes perfectly, with the bristles staying really soft and the brush shape the same.

Before I used to think that brush quality does not matter and as long as you have a few you will be fine. Oh how wrong I was, paying a little bit more for something of a much better quality is really worth it!

The Real Techniques Blush Brush costs £9.99 and is available from Boots.
Have you tried any brushes from the collection?

  6. I want this so much! I have the powder brush, starter set and core collection, and recently stayed at my Mums and forgot to take them all, I panicked so much wondering how I was going to apply all my make up! xo

  7. I'm about to purchase the core collection and powder brush but I've read mixed reviews about the blush brush which is 'too' soft apparently so I'll see which brushes end up in my shopping basket :) xx
