Review | Elf Matte Lip Colour in Coral

Evening lovelies!
My lip colour obsession grows with one of my latest purchases of the Elf Matte Lip Colour in the shade "Coral". I bought it as part of my Elf haul last week and have a series of Elf reviews coming up for you all.

I seem to wear lipstick every day, and it has got to the point where I feel naked without it on!
(I need help, I know...)
I picked this up as I do not actually have anything like it in my growing stash and I have never worn a matte shade. This is my first lip crayon and I am finding myself reaching for it almost every day!

I love the packaging of the lip pen, it is from the Studio range and looks very professional.
It is very sleek and has a colour tab on the bottom to show you the shade without opening it up, which is very handy if you have more than one of the lip pens!

The lip crayon twists up easily and feels sturdy in the packaging so you do not have to worry about breakage. The applicator is like a pen so it's easy to apply even without a mirror. I find the best way to apply this is to blend in a layer at a time to build up colour to the intensity you like. It has vitamins A, C and E in which moisturise and hydrate lips, an added bonus.

The colour is truly matte and I actually really like it, it surprised me how easy to wear it is and that it is very natural. I apply a small amount of lip balm underneath so that it does not dry my lips out. It lasts a very long time and I do not need to reapply as often as I do with sheen finish shades.

The colour is extremely flattering and I could wear it during the day for a natural look or on a night out with a smoky eye look. It is a gorgeous peach coral shade and I think it suits my pale skin tone.

I really recommend these and it is a great product from Elf for the cheap price of £3.75, there are also five other shades available so there is one for everybody. I must add that I dropped it once and the end did break off so do be careful with it!

You can pick up an Elf Matte Lip Colour here.

Have you tried any of these lip pens or a matte lipstick at all?

My order arrived this morning which is super quick, and I love everything I bought so far.

Lots of lovely treats!

Review | Natural Collection Lipstick Sweet Pea

Bonjour lovelies!

I love Natural Collection and have to try to stay away from the stand in Boots otherwise I always end up spending at least £5 as it is always three products for a fiver!
I already own a few other shades of the lipsticks and have reviewed a few of the lipsticks before.
I recently picked up a few more products to try out including Sweet Pea Moisture Shine Lipstick.

The packaging is pretty simple and plain but it is what you would expect for a cheap price. I would say to be careful with the lipstick packaging as it does not feel very sturdy, however I have had no problems with any of my Natural Collection lipsticks so far.

The colour is not my favourite from the range, but it is very flattering.
I personally prefer shades that are different to my natural lip colour, this is definitely one of those "my lips but better". It is a pearly pink with a fair bit of shimmer.

I really could not recommend Natural Collection lipsticks more, for £1.99 they are much better than you would expect and I will keep adding to my stash.

Review | Jergens Naturals Cocoa Butter Moisturiser

Hello lovelies!

I leave for holiday in a couple of weeks so am attempting to prepare my skin and get it in a better condition!
I can be fairly lazy with moisturising after a shower/bath, so my dry skin is really my own fault.

I picked up the Jergens Naturals Cocoa Butter Moisturiser from Superdrug.
I love the packaging and it's simplicity, it feels more expensive than it is in my opinion.

It claims to have "96% natural ingredients that work to deep condition and double skin's radiance".
Jergens say that "your skin is natural and your moisturiser should be too."

The main ingredient is of course cocoa butter, the smell is delicious and it is very hydrating whilst improving stretch marks and skin problems. Other ingredients are vitamin E, shea butter, sunflower oil, soybean oil, jojoba, olive oil, oatmeal and avocado.
I can personally say I have no idea what half of those are, but they are all natural and great for your skin.

I have been using this moisturiser for about two weeks and am really enjoying using it.
The consistency is very creamy and smooth but not greasy, which I think Palmers Cocoa Butter can be.
A little goes a long way and if you apply too much it does take a while to sink in. However if you apply a small amount it sinks into your skin easily and leaves a lovely smell.

I really recommend this if you have dehydrated skin.
It is on offer in Superdrug at the moment for about £3 instead of the usual £5 price.
I would buy this again as I feel my skin has improved and I love the smell!

Review | Natural Collection Lipstick Rose Petal

I love Natural Collection and have to try to stay away from the stand in Boots otherwise I always end up spending at least £5 as it is always three products for a fiver!
I already own a few other shades of the lipsticks and reviewed one of my favourites before here.

The packaging is pretty simple and plain but it is what you would expect for a cheap price. I would say to be careful with the lipstick packaging as it does not feel very sturdy, however I have had no problems with any of my Natural Collection lipsticks so far.

(excuse the gormless looking face and frizzy hair)

I do not really understand why this shade is called Rose Petal, as it is actually a peachy nude shade with coral undertones, instead of a red or pink that springs to mind with a rose. Not that I can come up with anything better...
I love this shade as it is incredibly easy to wear. It is a lovely creamy texture and very pigmented!
I really could not recommend Natural Collection lipsticks more, for £1.99 they are much better than you would expect and I will keep adding to my stash.
