Review | Elemis Loving Lips Quenching Lip Balm

Elemis Fresk Skin Lip Balm £8*

You probably know by now that like most I am a lip balm addict, I always carry one (loads) wherever I am going. I was very excited to receive some products from the Elemis Fresh Skin range to test out and this was the first product I ripped open to apply straight away to my super dry lips. Elemis is the leading luxury British spa and skincare brand that use natural active ingredients and the top technology to create some of the top selling products in the beauty market.

This refreshing peppermint lip balm from the Freshskin by Elemis ranged designed especially for younger skin, is enriched with passionflower oil, sweet almond oil and vitamin E to soften and condition the lips.

The Loving Lips Quenching Lip Balm is packaged in a pink and white box matching the colours of the Fresh Skin range. I love the packaging as for me it makes it look and feel very luxurious and different to the standard lip balms you pick up in the drug store. I also really like how the product is in a tube as this is much more hygienic to apply than dipping your finger into a tub!

Loving Lips has a peppermint scent that I like and find refreshing. The product is quite thick and glossy on the lips, it instantly hydrates and I can feel it moisturising and soothing the dry patches I have. I like to apply this at night as it guarantees I will wake up with soft and hydrated lips. You could definitely get away with wearing this as a lip gloss as it is very shiny and glossy.

If you are looking for a really moisturising thick treatment then I really recommend Loving Lips, it has become  my favourite from my huge stash of lip balms!
