The Blogger Made Me Buy It!

Who are your most influential bloggers? Who are the ones that you really rely on for reviews and swatches?

I read and love so many blogs that it's hard to find anyone that influential over anyone else. I just really enjoy reading different bloggers opinions and thoughs on things. However there are a few bloggers that if they say something is good then it will jump straight to the top of my wishlist. I am influenced by bloggers that seem genuinely passionate about what they are talking about, that always makes me take interest in their opinions!

Do you buy a product solely as a result from one review from your favourite bloggers, or do you look for more reviews from others?

I am getting much better with how much I spend and will only buy something if I am desperate to try it or really think I will like it (or I need it). If I am interested in something I check for reviews to see what other bloggers think. I always like to look at different foundation posts to find swatches, being pale skinned makes it super hard to find a good match! I don't tend to be swayed so much by just one blogger's review, but if there is a general good vibe then I am usually sold!

What is your most favourite item that you have ever bought as a consequence of blogs?

Definitely Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation, it had been on my radar for a while and now I barely use any other foundation! It's just brilliant, I love it so much.

What is your least favourite item that you have ever bought as a consequence of blogs?

A couple of shades of the Baby Lips I was quite disappointed with, but I do like the Cherry Me one. I'm also not a fan of the L'Oreal Super Liner range but will have reviews on that up soon! Apart from that I'm struggling! I do my research before I buy so that I don't end up not liking things that often.

Name 5 products you have bought recently as a result of blogs.

Revlon Matte Balm Crayons, I went a bit mad last night but they were bought with vouchers! Apart from that it was products I picked up in America as I haven't had the spare cash to spend lately. MAC eyeshadows were something I bought there because of reviews along with the Soft and Gentle Skin Finish. I got super excited when I found the Make Up Forever HD Foundation and have been enjoying putting it to the test. I also went mad at Wet and Wild stocking up on a few blogger favourites, like the eyeshadow palettes and lipsticks.

Have you ever given into blogger hype? If so, which hype?

All the time. Most recently last night. I had a meltdown in Boots trying to decide what shades to buy of the Revlon Matte and Lacquer Balms. I got 6 and still feel like I need more...

Have you ever avoided blogger hype? If so, which hype?

I seemed to have avoided Naked 3 so far, but my longing for it grows every day and it won't be long before I cave. The same thing is happening right now with the NARS eyeshadow palette that's out! Products seem to go through phases of being really hyped up, I always end up wanting something that is hyped but tend to try and hold off to see if I still want it when it's not the latest craze.
I was desperate for the Bourjois lip crayons when every blogger and their dog started reviewing them, but now I am glad I didn't succumb as I have a lot (and now more with the Revlon newbies) of that style of balm already.

Is everything you buy based on blogger reviews or are there some items you buy without checking out a review?

I don't really spend that much on make up now as I have a fair amount to get through, so I really do enjoy deciding what to buy and doing my research into it before. I do pick things up randomly sometimes too tho and like taking chances on things, especially if they are new and not that talked about yet. I'd say it's a mixture, I love make up shopping, discovering new things and testing them out. But I also like being clues up with what works and doesn't so I don't waste to much money!
