Review | Method Christmas Hand Washes

I was first introduced to Method through their awesome Disney collection of hand and bath products, which you can read about here. I love Method's brand, attitude, packaging and brilliant products.
Method are the 'people against dirty', they have a range of all things clean from washing up to laundry and specialty products like steel cleaner. Method's products are made of non toxic ingredients and look so good that you wouldn't want to hide them under your sink!

Method have brought out two Christmassy hand washes for the festive period that are available in both foaming and gel formulas.
Peppermint Vanilla- A swirl of crisp mint and and creamy vanilla, sure to jingle your bells.
Mulled Cider- A warm blend of apple, clove and cinnamon that would make even Frosty melt.

I love both scents and actually do not have a favourite. Peppermint Vanilla is very cooling and refreshing where as Mulled Cider is quite warming and and comforting. It's another way to extend the festive feeling through the house. The scents aren't artificial smelling and linger for a while without being overpowering.

The hand washes cost £2.50 each and are available online here, in Waitrose and other retailers.

Review | Barry M Limited Edition Christmas Nail Paints

Barry M Limited Edition Christmas Nail Paint 2014* £3.99 each

With under two weeks til Christmas it's time to get properly festive. I'm typing this in my Christmas jumper with the snazziest festive nails you will have ever seen all thanks to Barry M. Barry M have topped the beauty charts in my eyes this year with their two limited edition polishes packed with sparkles, stars and glitter.

Moonlight is a gorgeous mix of silver, gold and red on a clear base. It has lots of metallic silver glitter in three different types and sizes, small gold hexagon shape pieces, larger red metallic pieces, tiny glitter flecks and silver stars. This is the more Christmassy polish of the two for me.

Starlight is a mix of pale pinks, yellow gold and silver glitters on a clear base. It has silver stars, pale pink holographic pieces, yellow-gold holographic pieces in different sizes, silver stars and tiny glitter flecks. I think this would be amazing for New Years!

Moonlight and Starlight are both beautiful layered over a coloured polish. You need just one coat of each to get a super sparkly effect as the polishes are so dense in glitter. This is the perfect time of year to go all out with the sparkle and at £3.99 each they definitely won't break the bank.

Both polishes are exclusive to Boots and avalilable now here!

Review | Fossil Watch from Joshua James Jewellery

You all know about my love of rose gold, so when Joshua James Jewellery offered me the chance to pick something off their website I knew this Fossil beauty was going to become the new love of my life. Joshua James is a jewellery website that was founded in 2009 shortly after the brands first store opening in Yorkshire. Joshua James Jewellery stock a vast range of brands including Pandora, Michael Kors, Tresor Paris and many more.

I own just one watch by Michael Kors, which I purchased in Orlando last year. I'd never worn a watch before owning it but now I can't leave the house without wearing it or I feel kind of naked. My MK watch is also rose gold but quite plain with only a tiny hint of sparkle. When I saw the Fossil watch* online my eyes lit up and I felt that butterfly feeling you hear all about in the movies. (and we all wonder why I'm single)

The service from Joshua James Jewellery was fantastic, delivery was very quick and the watch was packaged safely but not with a ridiculous amount of excess packaging. Delivery is completely free and you can order up until the 23rd if you are after a Christmas present! The watch I picked was the last one so I can't link to it, but you have to look at the website as they have some great prices that would be hard to beat elsewhere.

Fossil and Michael Kors watches are actually designed and manufactured in the same place so if you're looking for a watch have a think about if you'd be happy to pay almost double the price just for a brand name because I know now how much I could've saved by going for a Fossil! The Fossil watch has become my 'special' watch for when I am going somewhere nice or just fancy a bit more sparkle in my look. You can't really beat the quality at the price point and I know it's going to last me a very long time.

I've now got my eye on this ring by Pandora, it's been top of my wishlist for ages so if anyone fancies treating me for Christmas...
Are you a rose gold watch fan?

outfit | #VeryOnTrend

playsuit*- Very
jacket- Topshop
bag*- Very
boots*- Very

A couple of weeks ago I was invited to attend the #VeryOnTrend event hosted by and Cosmopolitan Magazine. I was so excited to pick an outfit from the Very website, check out the Very Party Edit and the new collection by Sam Faiers, unfortunately that week I got poorly and couldn't make it! :(

I wanted to share my outfit choice with you anyway as I really like it and am sad I haven't had an opportunity to wear it yet! I love playsuits and knew this pick from Glamorous was going to be the focus of my outfit as soon as I saw it. It's a navy playsuit with a sleeveless cut and a double layered design. I really like the copper coloured rose print that is mixed with a lace pattern.
I paired the playsuit with my super old Topshop faux leather jacket, a pair of black heeled boots and a box clutch both from Very.

I'm gutted to have missed the fashion show but have narrowed my favourite outfits down to the above three after spending hours looking through the pictures! You can find out more about the #VeryOnTrend event here.
If you're looking for your festive outfit make sure to check out the Very's party dresses as they've got all the trends covered and have highlighted the key pieces to keep you looking stylish this Christmas!

Costa Coffee Christmas

For maybe the first time ever I am properly in the Christmas spirit way before December even starts! I've started my Christmas shopping and know pretty much what I'm getting everyone, I've planned some festive days out and may have even listened to the Christmas playlists...
The event that started this festive feeling was a trip to Costa Coffee recently to try out their incredible Christmas menu that's available now until the 4th of January!

I'm not a coffee drinker but I love Hot Chocolate, even more so when it comes in a cute Christmas cup. Costa have brought back their fun, festive cups with four designs for the different sizes.
This year the Christmas menu has a line up of 8 limited edition drinks, I've tried them all and they are rather special, there is definitely a drink for everyone!

Hot Chocolates
Brownie Hot Chocolate- Hot Chocolate with a shot of walnut brownie syrup, topped with cream and brownie pieces
Orange Hot Chocolate- Hot Chocolate with a shot of orange syrup, topped with Magic Dust and a chocolate lattice
White Hot Chocolate- White Chocolate Sauce with steamed milk, topped with cream, cherry sauce and sparkles
Black Forest Hot Chocolate- Hot Chocolate with a shot of blackberry syrup, topped with cream, herry sauce and dark chocolate curls

Other Drinks
Sticky Toffee Latte- Espresso with steamed milk and sticky toffee sauce, topped with cream
Praline Cappuccino- Espresso with praline syrup, topped with frothed milk and Magic Dust
Gingerbread & Cream Latte- Espresso with steamed milk and gingerbread syrup, topped with cream, a mini gingerbread man and sparkle
Hot Spiced Apple- Hot Spiced Apple with star anise and a cinnamon stick

There are also both savoury and sweet Christmas menus full of festive flavours! The savoury menu includes a Turkey and the Trimmings Toastie, a Gluten free Turkey, Bacon and Cranberry Wrap and a Cheeseboard Panini with festive chutney. The sweet menu has some amazing treats, but my absolute favourites are the Salted Caramel Yule Log, Ice Your Own Gingerbread Man and Cornflake Crunch. There are 14 sweet treats to try out in total!

I've already been back to costa three times in the past week to keep trying everything out. MY current obsession is the Orange Hot Chocolate with the Salted Caramel Yule Log!
Have you tried anything from the Costa Christmas Menu?

*I was invited to try out Costa's Christmas Menu at an Event, this is not a sponsored post. I just wanted to share the festive tastiness!

Review | British Beauty Blogger Eye Pencil Kit

British Beauty Blogger Eye Pencil Kit
British Beauty Blogger Eye Pencil Kit

British Beauty Blogger Eye Pencil Kit
British Beauty Blogger Eye Pencil Kit* £15.00

Blogger and YouTuber collections have sprung up everywhere this year and each time a new one is announced I feel incredibly proud that we live in a world where "internet people" are able to have their own beauty lines, books etc. The collaboration that has had me most excited this year is the British Beauty Blogger collaboration with Marks & Spencer.

Jane from British Beauty Blogger is a lady I admired long before I started my own blog. She is always first with beauty news, honest in her reviews and not afraid to say what she truly thinks. One of my favourite things about Jane is that she supports and champions the blogging industry, she's come from beauty journalism through to blogging so seriously knows her stuff. I met her for the first time over a year ago and was a tiny bit starstruck and thrilled that I was meeting one of my 'blogging idols'. She's an amazing woman so I'm over the moon that one of the biggest British brands has teamed up with her to launch a limited edition make up collection.

Jane and M&S worked with illustrator Nuno da Costa, the man behind Jane's blog header, to create a collection with beautiful packaing that would appeal to every woman. I love how the packaging of the Eye Pencil Kit is so simple but so striking! The Eye Pencil Kit contains 8 kohl pencils in a mixture of finishes and shades, there is definitely a pencil for every occasion.
The shades include a matte black, shimmer mint green, a bronze plum mix, matte grey, shimmer turqouise, black with glitter, a shimmer/metallic lilac and a matte navy.

The shades I'm not sure on are the mint, lilac and turqouise because I'm not brave enough but I'll be giving them a go in the summer time. The pencils are very pigmented and easy to work with. The texture is great as they aren't to hard that they drag or to soft that they smudge all over the place, they blend really well and are fab for a quick smokey eye. My favourite shades are the matte black, something I use almost every day, and the bronze plum shade as it's a gorgeous colour that I didn't have anything like already.

The Eye Pencil Kit retails at £15 for 8 pencils, a complete bargain that you definitely shouldn't miss out on.
It's currently on offer for an amazing price of £7.50, I've already bought another to give as a Christmas present!

If you're interested in the BBB collection make sure to be quick as it's only around for a limited time!

Amazing Offer | Origins Mask Marvels!

There was no way I wasn't going to share this incredible offer from Origins with you! Avaliable exclusively at Boots from today til the 13th of November the Mask Marvels set is reduced from £50 to £23!

I am a huge Origins fan but haven't shared my love for them enough on my blog simply because I've always talking about and trying new things, sometimes my favourites don't get the mentions they deserve! (I'm going to be working on some make up and skin care essentials posts and videos though.)

The Origins Mask Marvels set contains three 75ml masks that are all very loved and hyped in the beauty world.
Out of Trouble- 10 min mask to rescue problem skin
Clear Improvement- charcoal mask to clear pores
Drink Up Intensive- overnight mask to hydrate skin

This set is currently on an incredible offer at Boots at just £23 for the set, saving £27! Considering the full size 100ml of each mask costs £23, this is a deal not to be missed.
It would make a really lovely Christmas gift but I'm thinking it's time we all stock up as you won't find a deal on these masks this good til next Christmas! I give it a couple of days before this sells out completely as it wasn't around for long last year. I've already ordered mine!

Find the Origins Mask Marvels on offer here.
Will you be treating yourself?

Christmas Beauty Crackers 2014

Whether you're a Christmas lover or a bit of a scrooge, it's not far away now with just 52 shopping days left! I posted last year about Christmas Beauty Crackers and lots of you loved it. I mean who wouldn't want to pull open one of these beauties over Christmas dinner? Along with advent calendars, crackers filled with beauty treats are becoming more popular every year with big brands jumping on the festive bandwagon. I've rounded up my favourites from this year's offerings, if you treat yourself or the whole family I'm sure these would go down much better than a paper hat, rubbish joke and a tiny cellotape.

Clarins- A thing of beauty, the crackers look so perfect it may take determination to pull them apart, well until you hear about the treats inside! With six crackers and products including a mini Wonder Perfect Mascara, 30ml Beauty Flash Balm, 30ml Gentle Refiner, 30ml Hand and Nail Treatment Cream, mini Rouge Eclat Lipstick and a 30ml Eau des Jardins fragrance. £39 for the box seems pricey but it's a decent price considering the product sizes!

Jo Malone- Probably not a cracker for everyone at the dining table, however this would make a really beautiful gift for someone interested in beauty! The packaging is stunning and the treats inside are lovely; 9ml Lime Basil & Mandarin Cologne, 15ml Blackberry & Bay Body Handwash and 15ml Nectarine Blossom & Honey Body Creme. At £32 for one cracker it's at the luxury end of the market but a gorgeous gift!

Cowshed- An affordable cracker that's worth the price as the cost of the products is £9! Inside is a 50ml Cow Herb Hand Cream and a full size Lippy Cow lip balm. This would make a lovely stocking filler or gift for anyone interested in skincare, we all need hand cream and lip balm!

Lancome- A gorgeous set of six products that will bring joy to all the beauty lovers at the table (or just for you if you can get your hands on all the products inside!) With premium products including mini sizes of Hypnose Volume Mascara, Black Kohl Liner, Youth Activating Concentrate, Lip Lover, L'absolue Lipstick and Bi-Facil Eye Make Up Remover. For £54 for six crackers, it's a pricey set but worth it for a bit of luxury at Christmas!

Molton Brown- I love Molton Brown and the scent featured in this cracker is actually one of my fvourites! Pink Pepperpod smells incredible and having tried the hand cream it definitely works! Inside the cracker is a full sized hand cream, a 50ml body wash and 50ml body lotion. With a product value of £17 this cracker is great price at £20!

Anatomicals- The bargain cracker of the bunch at just £4.50 but currently on sale for £3! Anatomicals is a fun brand and would make a lovely gift, secret santa present or stocking filler. Inside the cute cracker is a minty lip balm and breath freshener. It's definitely not going to break the bank and is worth picking up as possible gift options, especially whilst it is on sale!

Which beauty cracker is your favourite?

Christmas | Argento Christmas Swap #loveargento

Last week I was lucky enough to receive a Christmas present courtesy of the lovely people at Argento and one of my best blogging friends that I have made this year, Gemma. If you haven't read Gemma's blog, Flutter and Sparkle, then you are seriously missing out! I have known Gemma through Twitter for ages now, but was finally able to meet her on our bloggers Brighton Stagette trip. We got on so well with each other, so the chance to pick her a Christmas present was really exciting!

Argento were really generous and offered us the chance to pick each other a gift from their huge range to celebrate Christmas. Gemma got me spot on and picked this really lovely black leather bracelet with a rose gold clasp. I am still obsessed with all things rose gold! I have been wearing this every day and really love it, it goes with everything (well at least I think it does!)

If you want to see what I picked for Gemma then click here! A huge thank you to Argento for this opportunity to pick something lovely for each other just in time for Christmas.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

Christmas | Benefit 'Under My Spell Noelle' Perfume

Benefit 'Under My Spell Noelle' Eau De Toilette £29.50
Benefit 'Under My Spell Noelle' Eau De Toilette £29.50
Benefit 'Under My Spell Noelle' Eau De Toilette £29.50
Benefit 'Under My Spell Noelle' Eau De Toilette £29.50

Merry Christmas Eve Eve! I cannot believe how close it is to Christmas now, I'm pretty much in denial about the whole thing to be honest as this year has gone by so fast. I'm definitely looking forward to eating my body weight in food and spending time with my family!

If you are like me and love Benefit, then you have probably admired the really cute 'Crescent Row' range of fragrances, each one is packaged in the same bottle but with a different snazzy print, and they all have fun titles with girls names in! For Christmas this year Benefit have released Under My Spell Noelle, I'm a bit late to the party with this but it's a gorgeous scent that I will be wearing for months to come, and you never know it might go into the post Christmas sales!

I absolutely love the packaging, the box is so cute and the same size as the perfume, (does it annoy anyone else when perfume comes in a huge box?) so I've kept it like this on my dressing table! The box design is set out to look like the entrance to a VIP Party, and I love how the box opens up to reveal the mini staircase up to the perfume. The bottle itself is perfect for the festive season with the gold print, it reminds me a bit of a cocktail shaker!

Under My Spelle Noelle is described as an exotic and glamorous scent, with notes of cardamom, black pepper, jasmine, vanilla and orchid. It's a beautiful blend of spicy and floral to make a really different scent that is a lovely mix of woody and sweet notes. It's definitely unlike any other fragrance I've owned, I tend to like really sweet scents, but I am full on addicted to this. I'm pretty sure I will be wearing this until Spring comes!

If you ever walk past a Benefit counter then give it a go!

Christmas | Very Secret Santa

Christmas is under a month away now and Very are right on the ball to help us get our Christmas presents sorted. They have launched the Guru Gift tool to help you find the perfect present for someone, by easily selecting who it is for, their personality and your price range, it then will bring up all the gifts that match that person and your criteria. Easiest Christmas shopping ever!

I was lucky enough to be invited to use the Guru Gift tool in the Very Blogger Secret Santa! Lots of bloggers have taken part and were each given a blogger to select a present up to the value of £20 from the Very website. It was hard to choose a gift for my blogger but she loved the burgundy leather gloves I picked out so I am relieved!

My secret santa (I still don't know who it was) got me spot on and I am now the proud owner of this beauty, the Illamasqua highlighter in Gleam. It's actually a product that I have had my eye on for a while so it's almost like they read my mind! Expect to see a review of this in the future.

Thank you to Very for including me in their Secret Santa, and big thank you to my Secret Santa for picking a lovely gift! I definitely recommend checking out Very for Christmas gifts as they stock a huge range of brands, and it's worth using the Guru Gift tool too if you need some inspiration.

I was sent this product as part of the Secret Santa campaign.

Christmas Gifts | Elemis Freshskin Super Glow Kit

Review | Elemis Freshskin Super Glow Kit
Review | Elemis Freshskin Super Glow Kit

Review | Elemis Freshskin Super Glow Kit

Elemis Freshskin Super Glow Kit £11*

Elemis has quickly become one of my favourite brands for skincare and they get even more points for having a range of sets made up of minis, which are perfect for travelling or just for trying out some new products!
I took this set on holiday with me, to be far I didn't get a chance to use the mask but I loved having mini versions of two of my favourite skin care products, Peachy Perfect Wash and Softly Softly Moisturiser.

Inside the Super Glow Kit is a 30ml Peachy Perfect Gentle Face Wash, which I used every morning for 10 days and didn't even get halfway through. Peachy Perfect is a soft face wash that doesn't dry out the skin and leaves it feeling hydrated and cleansed. There is also a 15ml Softly Softly Daily Moisturiser, this was perfect for applying after spf when away. It's lightweight but really moisturising and does a great job of keeping my skin soft. The last product is a 3ml sachet of Magical Moisture Quenching Face Mask. I haven't used this yet but am sure it's going to sort my dry winter skin right out!

The Super Glow kit retails at £11 here but is currently on offer for £9.89. It's a great set for travel but is also a good idea if you are a skin care lover looking to try out some new products but don't want to spend out on full size products without testing them first. Also a perfect present for any skin care lovers you may know!

What do you think of the Elemis Set?

Christmas | Beauty Crackers!

As much as I am struggling to believe it, Christmas is coming round the corner pretttttttty fast and it's time for me to start getting prepared! Being obsessed with all things beauty means I am always looking for ways to incorporate it more into life and it's so much easier to do this at Christmas time. Beauty Christmas crackers are becoming more popular every year and there is definitely a cracker for everyone. I thought I'd share some of my favourites so you can get convincing everyone that these are better than getting a tape measure, rubbish joke and paper hat! (Plus you can round up the contents and hide them in your beauty stash, nobody will notice they are gone!)

Clarins- These crackers are so gorgeous, to the point where I would find it hard to pull them, but with six Clarins treats inside it would probably take 30 seconds to rip into them all. Slightly pricey at £39 for a box of six crackers but worth it for Christmas Day. Contents- Beauty Flash Balm 30ml, Eau Des Jardins 30ml, Hand & Nail Treatment Cream 50ml, Gentle Refiner 30ml, Mini Rouge Eclat lipstick in Woodrose and a Mini Wonder Perfect Mascara.

This Works - I have wanted to try This Works for a long time! Inside is a 15ml Deep Sleep Dream Cream, this can be used all over to help you relax before bed, probably perfect for unwinding after Christmas Day! It's not the best value for money, the full size 75ml cream is £18 and the 15ml cracker is £9, but it would look pretty on the table at lunch or be a great stocking filler.

Nails Inc- Nails Inc have produced one of the best value for money sets that is definitely one of my favourites. costing £29.50 for 6 crackers that each have a full size polish inside. The polishes inside are the coveted Baker Street (cobalt blue), Mayfair Mews (blue fibre optic), Marylebone Lane (red glitter), King's Road (gold foil), Kensington High Street (burgundy) and Trafalgar Crescent (silver galaxy). All the shades are perfect for the party season.

Anatomicals- For a slightly cheaper cracker I love the look of the A Smacker In A Cracker Kissing Kit. For £3 the cracker contains a Snog Me Senseless Lip Balm and Mouth Freshener. It's a funny novelty cracker with two products perfect for taking on a night out, it's definitely not luxurious but if you want a beauty cracker that won't break the bank this could be perfect.

Origins- I am a huge fan of Origins and have a few reviews coming up soon featuring their products, I really want to get my hands on this set of six crackers, costing £45 and out on the 1st of December. Each cracker contains two 15ml samples and an Origins headband for pamer sessions. The samples included are Clear Improvement Mask, Modern Friction, Make A Difference + moisturiser, Drink Up Intensive Overight Mask, Make A Difference + hand cream, Ginger Burst Savoury body wash and Ginger Souffle Whipped body cream. It's a brilliant way to try a bunch of fab products, it's not a set that I'd be sharing!

Review | Treat Republic Personalised Treat Jar

Personalised Pet Treat Jar* £19.99

I'm one of 'those' puppy mums that when generously offered the chance to pick a personalised product to review from Treat Republic I headed straight to the pet section to chose something for Bertie. Treat Republic is the sort of website where you could probably do all your Christmas shopping in one go, full of unique, handmade and personalised gifts, I challenge you not to find something for every member of your family!

I couldn't resist this seriously cute treats jar for storing all Bertie's treats in and keeping them fresh. At £19.99 I think it is really worth the money for the quality. Before owning this, Bertie's treats were kept in sandwich bags but now they sit on the kitchen side in his own personal jar. It may mean I am giving him more biscuits than before as I love opening it up and using it! It keeps everything airtight and fresh, is very easy to open and looks great in the kitchen.

Go check out Treat Republic now and start your Christmas shopping! (Or just treat yourself!)
